I arrive on the 22nd and I go back on the afternoon/evening of the 23rd.
The evening of the 22nd I can probably manage to get away from the rest after dinner. I guess I'll be staying at the Ibis hotel again.
Another box camera? I'm glad I just bought the one.
*hides the 15 other cameras he has*
I'm afraid I don't know much about the Tengor, Helga. Looks nice though.

It was cheap
I've been reading up on a few era box camera's (all that take 120 film as I'm starting of simple (yes I already am b4 someones says it
)) I've seen one more I want
and then I'll stop....... ![]()

Sure, whatever you say.
I'm currently bidding on a kodak 35 PH-324 camera on Ebay myself. ![]()
Knowing my luck it'll go for at least 3x my maximum bid ![]()
You're better sticking to box cameras that's for sure

Well I haven't broken the £10 margin yet
and thats on all three and they're all complete and functional
but it has led me onto look at other things, but will once I manage to get a voitlianger, stop (temporarily) as I need "other" things, though I do want some of the portrait attachments
however its no use having lots of box camera's if it means the other things I desperately want are not purchased. ![]()

I know....those reproductions of WW1 private purchase boots on http://www.civilwarboots.com look darn tempting, but at $240 (16" high and with hobnails), it'll be a few months before I go for those.

Bought some new 49patt BD trousers from Springfields. Absolutly mint condition theirs are, but they sent me the wrong size (size10) even after asking for them to be definitely size16. Ah well, they're sending another (hopefully correct) pair overnight to try and be with me before I head over to Wales on Friday morning.

This little baby arrived for me today, okay not WW2, but from the Great War

It came from Joe Weingarten. They sell plenty of other reproduction WW1 and WW2 insignia. Great stuff! This is a reproduction of Pilot Wings made by the Meyer Company.
Got'm for half the price through Ebay ![]()
Now I hope he also offers the collar wings or I'm out a $120 for a pair ![]()

Oh, and I just bought Robert Capa's book "Slightly out of Focus"
I just bought it too...... was an enjoyable read and would have made a good film (that's movie to Americans
) ![]()
Nice flibs, heres a WWII original, the man who was awarded these wings was an RAF pilot (UK) who was one of a select few, given the opportunity to train with the USAF both in America (unsure of where he was stationed stateside) and in the UK (he trained with them at RAF St Morgan, Cornwall well the officers flight training stayed off camp at the Headland hotel). He was a very close family friend and the man that got me many moons ago into flying gliders. Anyways heres his Wings
Bit of a ramble but thought it nicer to put some background to whose wings they were rather than just show a random piccie of them

Lovely little piece with a wonderful history.
I won the PH-324
......for $125..(plus buyers commision from the auction, plus shipping would probably end up still at $200 but hey)
I've got an official Signal Corps Kodak now ![]()

I'm a little better... the antibiotics have kicked the sinusitis into touch... but now I just have a bit of queasiness and some cold symptoms. I suspect some of this is side-effects from the antibiotics and that once I've finished the course on Wednesday I'll start to feel better.
I'm back at work... which has to mean I'm a little better at least!
Getting loads of pressies does help one feel even better as well... ![]()
